Bali Ayurveda Rejuvenation Retreat
UBUD, BALI
SUNDAY JANUARY 17 - SATURDAY JANUARY 23, 2027
Book your spot by Wednesday, August 12 for a $500 earlybird discount
Join me for a transformational, high-vibe Ayurveda retreat in energetically-alive, dreamy, sacred Bali!!
This retreat is for your if you’re ready to give yourself the gift of relaxation and rejuvenation, wake up your spirit and bring more joy into your life (my retreats are ALL about sparking joy).
We’re headed to the highlands of Bali to its wellness and spiritual hub: Ubud. Our sweet little home for the week is nestled between lush green rice terraces and tropical jungle, making it the perfect place to ground down and recenter.
You’ll be living Ayurveda: waking and sleeping with the natural rhythms of the sun and moon, eating the fresh foods that your body so craves, receiving Ayurvedic treatments at the onsite Ayurvedic spa, and connecting with your own spirit through grounding ancient practices.
You’ll have the perfect amount of active time and down time, group time and alone time as needed, scheduled time and free time to walk to Ubud down or book an Ayurvedic facial.
Show up to this retreat however you are: burnt out, stressed out, or just seeking connection to yourself or other high-vibe women, and you’ll come out the other side feeling rested, rejuvenated, and inspired to live your best life when you return home!
My retreats are not just vacations. You don’t have to think about anything: accommodation, food, exercise, and activities are all organized for you. You get to disconnect from your daily grind and are given permission to relax.
You have space to just be.
Magic happens when you step outside of your little bubble at home, release yourself from your daily duties, and allow yourself to have new experiences.
Your senses, curiosity and playfulness awaken, and your spirit feels alive again.
And that’s exactly why I’m taking you to Bali.
Book your spot by WEDNESDAY, August 12 for a $500 earlybird discount!
“I am struggling to find the right words to describe the depth of my experience. I think it’s about the combination: people, location, being disconnected from the world. All of this combined created a safe space for my thoughts and worries to surface and then fall away. I finally had space to just be. And all the while I was feeling nourished on every level: body, soul and mind. And most importantly, i am keeping this special feeling even after I returned and immersed myself in daily life.”

Our Home in Bali
Everyone wants to go to Bali and for good reason. It has a mystical, sacred, other-worldly feeling, where everywhere you turn there’s a small altar and an offering of flowers and incense to the gods.
We’ll be staying within walking distance to Ubud town at The Shala Bali, an Ayurvedic and yoga retreat with an onsite Ayurvedic spa, the most beautiful yoga shala with views of the jungle, a vegetarian Ayurvedic-inspired cafe, and a salt water infinity pool.
The weather this time of year is warm and balmy, with short, refreshing downpours in the afternoons. If you haven’t yet experienced rainy season in the tropics, it is a treat. Personally, I am obsessed with it. There is nothing more romantic and exotic than a tropical downpour and the golden light it brings.
“Within just 5 days, I couldn’t believe how much better I felt, rejuvenated and ready to face anything in my every day life.”

“I wasn't sure that a 4 day retreat would be able to fuel all the depleted levels of my body, mind and spirit, but my expectations were set ablaze as soon as it started. Julie's care and teaching techniques are so refreshing and well crafted by experience and a deep desire to support her retreat guests… I felt the buzzing of this retreat for many many days after I left. Hands-down the best decision I made towards self care this year.”

“This was my second Mexican retreat with Julie…she always attracts a warm and thoughtful group who quickly feel like friends (if that’s something you’re interested in; Julie makes space for everyone to keep to themselves, also). Julie is truly a rare and perfect blend of grace, sunshine, wisdom, and humor, and I look forward to our next retreat with her. Meet Your Host
Hi! I’m Julie.
I’m a travel addict. I feel way more at home in the hustle and bustle of India than I do on the streets of New York. I love the exotic so much that I moved to Mexico so that I can feel like I’m traveling every day!
And I LOVE organizing magical, exotic experiences for you where you go home feeling completely rejuvenated and re-inspired to live your life at home with JOY.
I’m an Ayurvedic Doctor, so health and wellbeing are of the utmost importance to me. I share Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom on my retreats as a lived experience: sleeping with the moon, rising with the sun and sounds of the birds, early morning movement to get your prana flowing, nourishing your body with food that makes you feel light and energized, and getting off the screens to connect with real human beings in a joyful way.
I could not be more excited to meet you in Bali!
Meet My Retreat Assistant
We’re doubling the good vibes with Ayurvedic Practitioner Rheese Bhraiennis as my retreat assistant! Rheese loves travel as much as I do and we’ll help you feel at home in the exotic.
Rheese will be leading qigong sessions in the mornings to help wake up your energy for inspired days!
“This is the 3rd retreat I have taken with Julie – each one has restored my soul in ways I couldn’t have imagined prior to the retreat. I always depart the retreats revitalized and refreshed. It’s the self care I need for me – and I’m looking forward to the next one.”

While I try to be as compassionate as I can in my cancellation policy, as a retreat leader I have to protect the financial and time investments that I make to create these experiences and so, the deposit and cancellation policy are black and white.
Hence, I encourage you to book with the full intention of attending, and highly recommend purchasing a cancel-for-any-reason travel insurance policy to cover your costs in case you can’t make it.
In the event that the retreat has to be canceled due to a force majeure, I will reschedule the retreat and your payments will be applied toward the new retreat date.
-
I know that you’ll book this retreat with the intention of attending, but the unexpected does happen, which is why I HIGHLY recommend purchasing international travel/medical insurance for you trip, flight cancellation and interruption, emergency medical expenses, and emergency evacuation expenses.
The most comprehensive insurance is generally a Cancel for Any Reason policy, which needs to be purchased within a few days of your trip purchase. Insuremytrip.com has several options but please be sure to read cancellation policies carefully before purchasing.
-
US citizens need a visa to enter Bali. You can apply online in advance for the e-VOA ($35, valid for 30 days) to skip the airport line. Your passport must be valid for 6+ months from arrival. You'll also complete a short arrival form online within 3 days of landing, and pay a small tourist levy ($10) via the Love Bali app.
Please check the visa requirements for your nationality.
-
I recommend you arrive one day early (January 16) to have time to settle in and orient yourself before the retreat starts on January 17.
You can stay the night at Shala Bali (per their availability) or anywhere that tickles your fancy in Ubud!
“Julie's retreats are the perfect way to slow down, relax, take care of yourself, and connect with others in a safe space. The food is nutritious and delicious, the locations are amazing, and there is a balance between structured time and free time. Fun, relaxation, ease, and laughter guaranteed!”
