Sacred Mornings: Rituals from Ayurveda

The first things we think, see and do in the morning set the tone for the day that follows. Learn how to create sacred, mindfully begun mornings that awaken wellbeing, purify the body, uplift the mind, and give abundant clarity.

According to ayurveda, everyone is a “morning person” and there is no such thing as a “night owl”. Mornings are sacred, and we are all meant to receive the illumination that comes from aligning ourselves with the morning sun.

This workshop will teach you how to create your own sacred mornings. You’ll come to understand why mindful mornings are so important for your mood and mind. You’ll learn how to wake up with more energy, how to incorporate ancient ayurvedic self-care rituals that gently cleanse the body inside and out, and a 15 minute morning yoga routine to clear away fogginess.

You’ll come to enjoy the beauty and magic of the morning and receive all of the blessings that dawn has to give.

Learn how to wake up each morning feeling refreshed, energized, and recharged. Good sleep doesn’t come easily to all, but ayurvedic bedtime rituals can change that! The wisdom that ayurveda has to offer on sleep is life changing, taking us from light, disturbed, or sleepless sleep to restful nights.

Timing is everything, and in this workshop we’ll discuss why come midnight we just can’t fall asleep. Along with healthy rhythms, we’ll learn bedtime rituals that disconnect the mind from the day and calm the nervous system, including:

Bedtime pada abhyanga (self foot massage)
Bedroom vastu (sacred geometry)
Bedtime pranayama (yogic breathing)
Yoga nidra (yogic sleep)
Ayurvedic bedtime elixir
